Description | Objective:
HamSphere allows both licensed and unlicensed operators. Licensed operators may have participated in Ham Radio contests before whereas HS-users may be totally new to this concept.
This contest is a sprint of 12 hours. It introduces the concept of contesting to all members of HamSphere. It is meant to be fun and exciting. Even though prizes are not common for Ham Contest, we would like to entice our participants with some.
Prizes:
1:st place = 2 years subscription
2:nd place = 1 year subscription
3:rd place = 6 months subscription

Max Power | 100 watts (Power setting 6) |
Exchange | Signal report (RS) + QSO no |
QSO Points | 1 point per QSO with same continent
3 points per QSO with different continent

Multipliers | Each station once per band.
Meaning: If you work station A on 80 meters and later in the day work station A on 160m you got yourself a multiplier = 2. For each new station you work on both bands will increase the multiplier value with 1.
